Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) recently told MSNBC’s Chuck Todd that taxpayers have paid over $15 million to settle sexual harassment lawsuits against members of Congress!
$15 million, folks! That’s absurd!
And if that isn’t telling enough, apparently sexual harassment is such a problem that female lawmakers and aides are said to keep a list men who are notorious offenders.
Then last week, Congressional Office of Compliance released a year-by-year breakdown of harassment settlements and other awards without details. See below:
As a result, Trey Yingst, White House Correspondent for One America News, says that President Trump wants names to be released to the public!
To make matters worse, on Monday it was revealed that Democrat Rep John Conyers has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women. According to affidavits, Conyers used taxpayer money to fly women into D.C. to meet with him in hotel rooms, which just adds more fuel to the fire.
We as taxpayers are (and should be) furious! Let’s get behind Trump and DEMAND MORE OF THOSE NAMES!
