Clint Eastwood has never been one to mince words, as he just simply says what’s on his mind. This was certainly the case when he sat down for an interview with Esquire that was published on Wednesday.
As Eastwood answered various questions about politics, he took the gloves off on this cupcake generation of people who are offended by every little thing imaginable and we have to agree with him!
Simply put, Eastwood said younger Americans have turned into a “kiss-ass” and “pussy” generation who needs to stop calling things racist.
Eastwood said, “[Trump’s] onto something, because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up,” he said. “We’re really in a pussy generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells. We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist.”
When asked who he would support for the presidency he said, “I’d have to go for Trump … you know, ’cause she’s declared that she’s gonna follow in Obama’s footsteps,” he said. “There’s been just too much funny business on both sides of the aisle. She’s made a lot of dough out of being a politician. I gave up dough to be a politician.”
Eastwood said later in the interview that Trump was only being hammered as a racist because of what Trump said about the Mexican heritage of the Judge presiding over the Trump University case.
Eastwood said, “Yeah, it’s a dumb thing to say. I mean, to predicate your opinion on the fact that the guy was born to Mexican parents or something. He’s said a lot of dumb things. So have all of them. Both sides,” Eastwood said. “But everybody — the press and everybody’s going, ‘Oh, well, that’s racist,’ and they’re making a big hoodoo out of it. Just f—ing get over it. It’s a sad time in history.”
We tend to agree, Clint! Well said, sir! (Read the entire interview HERE)
Political correctness has forced America into an all-time low and it’s not anyone’s fault but liberals. Conservatives realize this is America…you do NOT have a right to be unoffended. Get over it and embrace all the freedoms we have, or else slowly but surely our freedoms will be legislated out of America.
